From the very earliest days of CBD in Europe through his work with companies like Cannapower, through growing medical marijuana in California on a boutique organic farm, Henri has been at the forefront of the cannabinoid world. Today he is CEO of CBD Virtue, the upscale retailer, wholesaler and manufacturer of ultra-premium CBD.
With a background in law and technology he has worked all over the world, from Australia to Colombia, including work in the supplements, pharmaceuticals and healthcare sectors.
Henri also works in non-profit research for The Cannabinoid Trust, and maintains strong links with the CBD and medical marijuana world in California and Colorado. He is currently co-authoring a book on CBD, and continues to consult for companies looking to break into the market at the top.
Richard sits at the intersection of where technology meets cannabis and hemp. The CEO and Co Founder of the Canadian Cobidol Group a Canna Tech company focused on discovery, provenance, payments and trade. A founding partner of The Cannabis Fund and a founding partner of NewLeaf Insights.
Richard’s background has been on both sides of the entrepreneurs table as the CEO & Co Founder of the ventures incubator YUZA ( responsible for the M Health brand Digipill and the FinTech Pollen VC ) and as a partner at the early stage venture fund; Fuel Ventures.
Richard also helped launch Dream:ON the world’s largest mass participation study on dreaming and created the legendary dance music event the Tidy Weekender which runs to this day. Richard acts as a mentor for Expert Impact a social impact charity working with the CEOs of high growth social impact firms.

Toby Shillito is a cultivator, connector and investor in the Cannabis industry and is active in UK, Spain, Switzerland and Greece. He is most interested in Corporate Responsibility, Growing Methods and Future Business Models in the post-prohibition era.
Toby has enjoyed a 35 year relationship with the plant, including living in countries such as Jamaica and Afghanistan; making Hashish by hand in Morocco in the late 1980s and growing indoors since 1991.
He is skilled at designing and operating Medical grade facilities using the latest technologies and is fascinated with the future of glasshouse production. Toby holds his MBA from the prestigious London Business School.
Anthony is Co-Founder of Django Digital, a boutique strategic consultancy. Anthony has Investment Banking experience at Standard Chartered Bank, Amber Capital, Finisterre Capital and KPMG Private Equity. Anthony has advised and invested in companies in Africa, America, Europe, South East Asia, Turkey and Armenia.
Through his family’s businesses, Anthony has had a lifelong exposure to the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries across the EMEA region. Anthony’s passion for exploring the intersection between healthcare and deep-tech, and the impact this can have in developing countries, led him to Co-Found Anteo, a HealthTech start-up based in New York.
Anthony studied BSc Economics at the University of York and MSc Business Analytics at Imperial College London.
Kiran is Co-Founder of Django Digital, a boutique strategic consultancy. He has over 3 years’ experience independently consulting SMEs across Europe and North America.
Kiran previously led Product Development and Operations at Brisqq, a tech start-up. Prior to this, Kiran founded an internationally stocked menswear retailer, and gained Investment Banking experience at UBS and Canaccord Genuity.
Kiran studied Economics and Management at the University of Oxford.
Richard is an entrepreneur with over 30 years in digital media communications, software development, and more recently the cannabis industry.
Richard’s current activities include: Co-Founder/CEO, Granite Ridge Life Sciences, a natural health products company, Co-Founder, Mountain Valley Medicinals, a Canadian cannabis producer, Advisor to Blok Technologies Inc., a blockchain technology company, and CEO of PūrHemp Inc., a hemp-derived CBD products import/export company.
Richard is also Founder/Editor of The Hemp News, an online publication covering the emerging medical cannabis and industrial hemp sectors since 2009. An early investor in several cannabis companies including: National Access Cannabis (exit), The Green Organic Dutchman (exit), AviCanna and FSD Pharma.
Isabel Fox is a mother, wellness coach, Peloton enthusiast and one of just a handful of female General Partners in the UK. Prior to founding Luminous Ventures, Isabel was head of Venture Capital at White Cloud Capital where she focused on early stage investments in life sciences and healthcare.
With a background in investment banking and private equity turnarounds, Isabel founded and exited two corporate communications firms focused on the route to exit, co-founded two software start-ups (one exit) and been an active angel investor in the UK and US.
She has worked in New York, San Francisco and London. At Luminous Ventures, Isabel has the opportunity to invest in visionary founders with breakthrough technologies, and backing deep-tech and science that matters.
Max was previously a healthcare and life science investor at White Cloud Capital, making venture and growth capital investments in Europe and Asia across a range of indications, technologies and services. Having graduated from the University of Cambridge, Max started out as a corporate lawyer at Slaughter and May in London, Milan and Tokyo, sitting in the TMT and IP group.
There he worked on, among other things, technology IPOs and M&A, giving him a taste for the commercial and investment side. His experience in intellectual property and regulation is particularly useful for the deep technology companies in which Luminous invests. Outside of the office, Max is often to be found trail running in the mountains or (where he can't get away) the Surrey Hills.
